ASIAINFO ASSISTS CHINA MOBILE TO COMPLY WITH THE SARBANES-OXLEY ACT
BEIJING/SANTA CLARA, Calif. - September 7, 2006 - AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASIA), a leading provider of telecom software solutions and security products and services in China, announced today it has entered into contracts with Inner Mongolia Mobile, Gansu Mobile and Guangxi Mobile to enhance the security of their operation support systems..
AsiaInfo will help these three China Mobile subsidiaries comply with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act ("SOX") by reducing the security risks facing the operating system. The security enhancement project will make modifications to the BOSS, customer platform and operation analysis systems and improve key functions including the security management process, data warehouse audit, application system and virus management.
